The phrase “Rebound Therapy” was coined by E.G. Anderson, in 1969 to describe the use of trampolines in providing therapeutic exercise and recreation for people with a wide range of special needs.
Participants range from mild to severe physical disabilities and from mild to profound and multiple learning disabilities, including dual sensory impairment and autistic spectrum.

“Rebound Therapy is used to facilitate movement, promote balance, muscle tone, promotes relaxation, sensory integration, as well as improving fitness and exercise tolerance, whilst aiding the development of communication skills.”

Our autism friendly sessions are designed specifically for those people on the autistic spectrum, and their families, to enjoy.

Benefits:

  • Participants are kept to a minimum
  • No stress involved and music is turned down

To avoid disappointment, if you are planning to bring children with special needs along to the park, please call in advance and ask for the duty manager to discuss your needs and we will advise if access is possible at the time requested.

Studies have shown that the use of trampolines provide therapeutic exercise and recreation for people with a wide range of special needs. Participants range from mild to severe disabilities, including dual sensory impairment and autistic spectrum.

Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update

We are sorry to confirm that following the latest Government advice regarding Coronavirus, we have made the difficult decision that our parks will close temporarily from the close of business on Friday 20th of March 2020.

At Jump Xtreme and That Fun Place, the health and safety of our customers is our number one priority.

Our customers will know we pride ourselves on our very high standards of cleanliness and hygiene and over recent weeks we have increased our sanitising regime, however in light of Government advice this week we feel this is the best course of action.

When we have a confirmed reopening date we will be in contact to re-arrange outstanding bookings.

Our phones will be unmanned during this enforced shutdown.

If you want to contact us please either email bolton@jumpxtreme.co.uk or tamworth@jumpxtreme.co.uk or please contact us via our Facebook pages.

Please stay safe and healthy, and we look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
